I've seen plenty of artistic renditions of Spawn. Going from Liam Sharp (who's somewhere here on dArt) to Ashley Wood, going through the Master Greg capullo adnd Dwayne Turner, I thought I had seen Spawn enough like for it to stop smazing me. I had become jaded after so many iterations.

I'm so glad this piece is here to shatter that conception.

This is an extremely refreshing piece, not only as fan art but in general art as well. The fresh, flooding nature of the paint is as close as Spawn's living cape can get, and the color choice is perfect to transmit the "dried blood" feeling Spawn, as a walking corpse, has. The chains could have been better worked though, as they seem to stand out a bit from the "splotches" of paint, looking too sharp, but the effect is quite effective composition-wise, and adds a fair share to the flow of the picture.

It is also great to see a Spawn rendition that walks away from the common barroque srawing style from the traditional series. Spawn is a very complex hero, with many features and detail, yet here it's very essence is captured in a mixture of fantastic composition, outstanding color and marvelous execution.

but i love the colors ! actually the colors are match !i think u r works ll be better if u training more. and the chairs there are the only things that has movement ! i count 4 u r next acrylic worx ! i think u did a such a go0d thing that i love it ,, u saved SPAWN 's great!!!
